About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Quality Controller to support and drive quality performance across our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-focused role responsible for ensuring quality standards are embedded throughout production, with a strong focus on right-first-time performance, process control, waste reduction, and preventing quality issues before they reach the customer.

  • Act as a visible presence within the production environment, supporting teams to achieve consistent quality and first-time-right results
  • Review quality performance data, identify areas for improvement, and support investigations into defects and recurring issues
  • Complete quality inspections, audits, and compliance checks to ensure processes remain controlled and effective
  • Partner with production teams to drive improvements that reduce waste, minimise rework, and improve overall efficiency
  • Support manufacturing changes, trials, and new product activities by assessing potential quality risks and ensuring controls are in place
  • Promote good quality practices across the workforce through guidance, support, and effective communication
  • Share quality updates, improvement actions, and key issues with relevant teams and stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience within a quality, manufacturing, or production-focused environment
  • A good understanding of quality processes, standards, specifications, and controls
  • Experience contributing to audits, investigations, and improvement projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with the confidence to identify issues and support effective solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, engage, and support colleagues at all levels
  • Comfortable reviewing quality information and using data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • A strong eye for detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards
  • Ability to prioritise workloads effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence to challenge existing ways of working and encourage better practices
  • Good IT capability with experience using systems and data to monitor and improve quality performance
