The Opportunity
You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a particular focus on healthcare schemes for NHS Trusts and other public and private sector clients. The team is heavily involved on the client side, providing trusted commercial advice from project inception through to completion.
Projects include:
- Major healthcare developments
- Refurbishment and estate improvement programmes
- Fire remediation and reinstatement projects
- Public sector capital investment schemes… and more!
Key Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Deliver full pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
- Act as a trusted advisor to healthcare and public-sector clients
- Cost planning, estimating, and budget management
- Procurement and tender management
- Contract administration and change control
- Valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
- Managing stakeholder relationships across multiple projects
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members where appropriate
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- Consultancy or client-side Quantity Surveying experience
- Experience delivering healthcare projects is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of cost management and commercial best practice
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills
- MRICS qualification would be advantageous but is not essential
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
