Senior Quantity Surveyor

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, nationally recognised main contractor that's looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
This is an opportunity to work on high-value construction projects ranging from £5m to £60m+, delivering schemes across industrial, logistics and commercial sectors as part of a collaborative and forward-thinking business.
The Role
- Lead the commercial management of construction projects from procurement through to final account.
- Manage subcontract procurement, valuations and payments.
- Prepare client valuations, variations and cost reports.
- Identify and manage commercial risks.
- Work closely with project teams to maximise profitability and project performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
What We're Looking For
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
- Proven ability to manage projects independently.
- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Experience delivering industrial, commercial, logistics or large-scale construction projects.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is desirable.
