Senior Quantity Surveyor

A leading international project team is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a major construction project in Cologne.

This is a key commercial position, responsible for supporting the successful financial and contractual delivery of the project while working closely with the wider project team.

• Manage commercial and cost management activities throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor budgets, costs, valuations and variations
• Manage change and contractual matters
• Prepare commercial reports and forecasts
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and project stakeholders
• Provide commercial guidance to the project team
• Support procurement and final account negotiations

• Experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong construction background
• Proven experience managing commercial aspects of major projects
• Strong understanding of contracts, cost control and change management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Experience working on international projects would be advantageous
