Senior Quantity Surveyor - Defence Infrastructure Projects

Location: Barrow-in-Furness - 4 Days On-Site / Fridays Work From Home

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + £5,300 Car Allowance + 10% Working Away Uplift + £1,450 Per Month Tax-Free Living Away Allowance

Package includes:

  • Up to £75,000 salary
  • £5,300 annual car allowance

Key Responsibilities of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Commercial management of major engineering, construction and infrastructure projects
  • Cost planning, forecasting and financial reporting
  • NEC contract administration
  • Change control, variations and claims management
  • Cash flow forecasting and payment applications
  • Procurement and management of subcontractors
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Final account negotiation and agreement
  • Building strong stakeholder and client relationships

Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor
  • Background within construction, infrastructure, engineering, MEP, defence, nuclear or major projects
  • Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
  • NEC contract experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • bility to obtain Security Clearance is essential
