Location: Hybrid / London & Major UK Projects
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

This role is based at the Liverpool St office 3 days a week and 2 days a week from home.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a specialist construction consultancy working across major infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with leading main contractors and subcontractors, providing commercial and contractual expertise with a particular focus on NEC contracts, change management, contract administration and claims.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced QS who enjoys getting involved in complex contractual matters and wants to further develop their expertise within a specialist environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercial and quantity surveying support across major infrastructure projects

  • Manage and administer NEC contracts

  • Identify, assess and manage contractual change and compensation events

  • Prepare and review variations, quotations and commercial submissions

  • Support the preparation and management of contractual claims

  • Provide robust cost reporting, forecasting and commercial analysis

  • Identify contractual and commercial risks and advise project teams accordingly

  • Work closely with main contractors, subcontractors and other project stakeholders

  • Maintain accurate contractual and commercial records

  • Support dispute avoidance and resolution where required

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

  • 6+ years' post-graduate experience

  • Strong experience working under NEC contracts

  • A background working for a main contractor or subcontractor

  • Experience in change management and contract administration

  • Exposure to preparing, managing or supporting claims

  • Experience working on major infrastructure or complex construction projects

  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • A proactive approach and desire to continue developing professionally
