We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial expertise, supporting the delivery of local landmark schemes around Plymouth and surrounding areas.

The day to day stuff…

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on consultant reports & technical information
• Develop detailed project cost plans as designs progress
• Produce quantities from drawings and technical documentation
• Support the preparation of Contractor Proposals
• Procure consultants and subcontractors
• Prepare and submit applications for
• Produce accurate monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial updates
• Support project mitigation and commercial recovery strategies
• Attend client, consultant and project meetings
• Mentor and support junior members of the commercial team

What we need from you…..

• Previous longevity working for a Tier 1 or large regional contractor as a Senior.
• As an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have a good understanding of construction techniques
• HNC / Degree in commercial management or a similar sector related course, and/or RICS Membership.
• You should also have strong knowledge of company management systems including commercial and financial (Commercial Manager /COINS/Sphere) as well as proven experience of managing a team of assistant/quantity surveyors on a large contract.
