Territory: East Midlands, with a particular focus on Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Are you an experienced recruiter who's tired of working hard, billing well and seeing someone else take the biggest slice?

Method Recruitment Group is looking for an experienced, self-employed Recruitment Consultant to cover the East Midlands and help us continue growing an exciting recruitment business.

This is a fully remote opportunity, giving you the flexibility to work from wherever you're most productive. We do, however, believe recruitment is still a people business, so you'll be expected to spend time out meeting prospective clients and building relationships across your region.

This isn't a trainee role. We're looking for someone who already understands recruitment, enjoys winning new business and wants the freedom to build their own desk whilst helping shape a growing company.

What you'll receive

• 80% Commission

• £54,320 First-Year OTE* (based on our projected billing model)

• Uncapped earning potential with top-performing recruiters capable of earning £100,000+ per year

• Full invoicing and administration handled by us

• Basic laptop and mobile phone available if required

• Unlimited support from the directors whenever you need it

• Regular client visits, networking and days on the road together

• Breakfast or lunch on us from time to time, especially after a big placement or milestone

OTE is based on our projected billing model and is not guaranteed. Earnings are entirely performance-based.

How you'll be paid

We believe in complete transparency.

Once a client has paid their invoice and the funds have cleared into our account, your commission becomes payable.

Commission is released in two stages:

• 50% of your commission is paid once the placement successfully passes the initial four-week 100% rebate period.

• The remaining 50% is paid once the placement moves beyond our rebate period and no further rebate liability exists.

Our client guarantee is:

• Weeks 1 to 4: 100% rebate

• Weeks 5 to 8: 50% rebate

• Week 9 onwards: No rebate.

This structure protects both you and the business whilst ensuring commission is released as early as reasonably possible.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for experienced recruiters who want to hit the ground running.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous recruitment experience

• Existing client relationships or the confidence to build them quickly

• Experience generating your own business and managing your own clients

• A professional, self-motivated approach

• A genuine desire to build something long term

This isn't a role for someone looking to learn recruitment from scratch. You'll receive unlimited support, but we're looking for someone who can make an impact from day one.

What we expect

Although you'll be self-employed, we're looking for someone who genuinely wants to help build Method Recruitment Group.

You'll be expected to:

• Around 35 hours per week

• Work towards agreed billing targets

• Spend a minimum of one full day (or two half days) every week meeting prospective clients face-to-face across your region

• Deliver an exceptional service to clients and candidates

• Keep your CRM organised and up to date

We don't believe in pointless KPIs.

There are no daily call targets, email quotas or meaningless activity metrics. Instead, we trust experienced recruiters to manage their own desk professionally, build relationships and deliver results.

Self-employed responsibilities

As this is a self-employed opportunity, you'll be responsible for:

• Registering as self-employed and managing your own tax affairs

• Paying your own Tax and National Insurance

• Covering your own fuel and travel expenses

• Managing your own finances

We'll take care of the recruitment back office, including invoicing, administration and client payment management, allowing you to focus on building relationships and making placements.
