Senior SEO Specialist / Strategist Senior SEO Specialist / Strategist at WEBPRO, Edgware

WEBPRO · Direct employer

£18,000 a year

Edgware · Part Time

Remote (UK) | 16 hours per week | Flexible working

Salary: From £18,000 per annum, depending on experience and expertise

WEBPRO is an established digital agency looking for an experienced SEO professional who genuinely wants a permanent, part-time position.

We’re not looking for someone simply to manage a department. We’re looking for someone who really knows SEO — someone with the experience, practical ability and sound judgement to identify opportunities, solve problems, develop effective strategies and help our existing team deliver results.

Strong SEO foundations, with a modern outlook

You’ll have a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of SEO, including technical optimisation, website architecture, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO, content strategy, link building, analytics and conversion-focused organic growth.

You’ll also understand how search is evolving through AI, including AI Overviews, answer engines, generative engine optimisation (GEO) and the growing importance of visibility across AI-powered search platforms.

We want someone who embraces these developments, understands how AI can improve SEO research, analysis and workflows, and knows where human expertise and judgement remain essential.

AI knowledge is important, but it must complement genuine SEO expertise, not replace it.

What you’ll be doing

  • Auditing websites and identifying technical, structural and content-related SEO issues.
  • Developing practical SEO strategies that improve visibility, relevant traffic, enquiries and conversions.
  • Researching keywords, competitors and emerging search opportunities.
  • Guiding and mentoring our existing SEO team while remaining actively involved in the work.
  • Helping improve SEO performance across our client portfolio.
  • Developing organic growth opportunities for WEBPRO’s own websites, including our UK and international ambitions.
  • Exploring and implementing appropriate AI and emerging search optimisation techniques.
  • Monitoring results, identifying what works and adjusting strategies accordingly.

Who we’re looking for

You’ll have substantial, proven SEO experience and be comfortable working across the full SEO discipline, rather than specialising exclusively in content or AI.

You’ll be commercially minded, technically confident, practical and capable of explaining your recommendations clearly.

Most importantly, you’ll know how to turn SEO knowledge into measurable improvements.

A genuinely part-time opportunity

We recognise that highly experienced professionals don’t necessarily want a full-time working week.

Whether you’re balancing other commitments, returning to professional work, changing your working pattern or simply choosing to work fewer hours, we’d welcome your application.

This is a permanent position for 16 hours per week, with flexibility to arrange those hours across two full days or shorter working days, subject to the needs of the business.

We’re looking for someone who genuinely wants a long-term, part-time position — not a full-time role compressed into fewer hours.

Interested?

Please send us your CV together with your responses to the screening questions.

We’re particularly interested in hearing from experienced professionals who enjoy applying their expertise, sharing their knowledge and making a meaningful contribution within a permanent, flexible, part-time role.
