Senior Site Engineer

Location: Suffolk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading specialist contractor delivering works on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes.

Working on a major civil engineering project, you'll lead the delivery of complex geotechnical work packages, taking responsibility for engineering quality, programme performance and technical leadership across multiple workfronts.

• Lead engineering delivery across multiple workfronts.
• Ensure the highest standards of health, safety and quality are maintained.
• Coordinate engineering activities, short-term planning and programme delivery.
• Resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Support NEC contract administration, change management and project reporting.
• Manage subcontractors and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers while building strong relationships with project stakeholders.

We're looking for candidates with:

• Previous experience as a Senior Site Engineer or Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure.
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of ground engineering, piling, geotechnical works or heavy civils.
• Experience working under NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• SMSTS and CSCS certification.

Experience within major infrastructure, geotechnical engineering or specialist foundation projects would be highly advantageous.
