Senior Structural Engineer

We're looking for an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer to join a close-knit, highly collaborative design consultancy in Norwich. This is a genuinely exciting time to join the business, with an increase in workload creating a brand-new role within the team.

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a fascinating and varied range of projects, giving you the chance to broaden your technical experience, take ownership of your work and make a real contribution to the continued success of the consultancy.

You'll be joining a friendly team where people know each other, support one another and genuinely enjoy working together. You'll have plenty of autonomy, but also access to experienced colleagues who are keen to share knowledge and help you develop.

As Senior Structural Engineer, you'll be involved in the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects. No two days will be quite the same, with opportunities to work across different sectors, materials and structural challenges.

You'll be encouraged to develop your technical expertise, build strong client relationships and take increasing responsibility for projects. If you're working towards Chartered status, this is an excellent environment in which to develop - the role will provide strong opportunities and support to help you achieve chartership. And if you're already Chartered, you'll have the freedom and responsibility to continue developing your career.

We're interested in hearing from experienced structural engineers who are ready for their next challenge. You might already be a Senior Structural Engineer, or you could be an experienced Structural Engineer looking for the opportunity to step up.

You'll ideally have:

• Strong structural design experience within a consultancy environment
• Good technical knowledge and sound engineering judgement
• Experience managing projects and working with clients and other design professionals
• A proactive, collaborative approach
• A desire to continue learning and developing
• A relevant degree and appropriate professional experience
• A commitment to achieving Chartered status, if you aren't already Chartered
