Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy and professionally managed logistics operation based in the Croydon area.

This is a key position within the transport team and would suit somebody with strong planning experience who is confident managing a fast-paced operation while maintaining high standards across compliance, communication and organisation.

This is not an entry-level role. Previous transport planning experience is essential and the business is looking for somebody capable of bringing structure, reliability and strong operational awareness into the team.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 07:00 – 17:00

• Full-time permanent position

The Role

• Planning and coordinating daily transport operations

• Allocating routes and workloads efficiently

• Managing driver schedules and vehicle availability

• Communicating with drivers, customers and operational teams throughout the day

• Supporting compliance with Drivers’ Hours and transport legislation

• Managing operational issues calmly and professionally

• Liaising with workshop teams regarding defects and maintenance scheduling

• Maintaining accurate transport records and operational systems

• Supporting improvements across operational processes and efficiencies

Requirements

• Previous Transport Planner experience essential

• Strong geographical knowledge

• Good understanding of transport compliance and Drivers’ Hours rules

• Experience using transport planning systems

• Ability to work well under pressure within a busy transport office

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Professional and solution-focused approach
