A leading dealership in Wimbledon, London is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repair work on a range of vehicles
  • Perform complex repairs, including electrical and electronic systems
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and adhere to manufacturer guidelines
  • Mentor and support junior technicians within the workshop
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies
  • Complete service and repair documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Assist in vehicle preparation for MOT testing (if qualified)
  • Liaise with parts department to ensure availability of required components
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Requirements of a Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 2, or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
  • Proven experience within main dealerships or high-performing independent garages
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical repair skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor colleagues
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT Testing qualification is desirable but not essential
  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer service and vehicle standards
