Duties of the Senior Vehicle Technician:
  • Complete servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs adhering to manufacturer standards
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and repair vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Execute mechanical and electrical fault finding with precision
  • Support and mentor junior technicians to enhance team knowledge
  • Perform pre-delivery inspections and vehicle handovers
  • Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality
  • Maintain accurate records and complete relevant paperwork
  • Liaise effectively with customers and service advisors regarding repair work
  • Work independently while contributing to the workshop team’s success
Requirements of the Senior Vehicle Technician: 
  • Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a dealership or professional workshop
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Proactive, dependable, and professional approach with attention to detail
