Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor / Service Advisor
Location: Cardiff
Salary: £32,598 rising to £33,575 after successful probation
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday between 7:00am-6:00pm + 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am-1:00pm

The Role
As a Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor, you will act as the key link between customers and the workshop, managing vehicles throughout the service and repair process and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Managing customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face
·Booking commercial vehicles into the workshop
·Understanding customer requirements and agreeing work to be carried out
·Preparing accurate job cards and estimates
·Liaising closely with Technicians and workshop management
·Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
·Identifying additional work and obtaining customer authorisation
·Managing customer expectations and resolving queries professionally
·Ensuring all workshop administration is completed accurately
·Preparing vehicles for collection and explaining completed work
·Maintaining excellent customer service standards
 
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
·Previous Service Advisor experience - essential
·Experience within a commercial vehicle, HGV or automotive workshop environment
·Strong customer service and communication skills
·Good understanding of vehicle servicing and repair processes
·Excellent organisation and attention to detail
·Ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a busy environment
·Confident telephone and face-to-face communication skills
·Kerridge experience - desirable
·Professional and reliable approach
·Ability to work effectively as part of a team
