We are currently recruiting for a Service Advisor on behalf of our client in Brentwood, Essex.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional seeking a well-structured role within a reputable dealership. The Service Advisor position offers a stable working environment, competitive salary, and the chance to further your career within the automotive industry.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, managing service enquiries efficiently
  • Booking vehicle intake and recording customer requirements accurately
  • Providing detailed updates on work progress, timelines, and additional services
  • Building strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring all documentation adheres to dealership standards
  • Supporting the service department with scheduling, communication, and workshop coordination
  • Upselling additional services where appropriate, in a professional manner
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised dealership, independent garage, or similar setting
  • Strong customer service skills with the confidence to manage customer expectations
  • Excellent organisational and administrative abilities
  • Clear communication skills, able to liaise effectively with technicians and management
  • Ability to suggest additional services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Relevant experience in a service administration or front-of-house role within the motor trade
