Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers with professionalism and courtesy, establishing trust and rapport
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the dealership’s products and services through ongoing training
  • Promote additional services and repair work, maximising workshop revenue
  • Keep customers informed about the progress of their vehicle repairs
  • Manage workshop bookings efficiently, scheduling appointments and confirming with customers
  • Conduct pre-appointment calls to clarify customer requirements and answer queries
  • Ensure accurate and detailed customer records within the dealership management system
  • Handle customer queries in a professional manner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Contribute to a team environment focused on delivering excellence in customer service
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to assess customer needs and upsell services effectively
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience working in target-driven environments
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer experiences and working as part of a team
