We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchised car dealership in Bristol, for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor.   • The role involves working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, with Saturdays on a rota from 8:00am to 12:30pm.
Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers in the Service Department and handle vehicle service bookings
  • Liaise with the workshop team to track work in progress and inform customers of updates
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Organise courtesy vehicles for customers when necessary
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records using DMS systems (preferably Kerridge or Keyloop)
  • Follow company procedures to promote repeat business and customer loyalty
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within an automotive aftersales environment, such as a franchise dealership, service centre, or accident repair centre
  • Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of DMS systems, ideally Kerridge or Keyloop
  • Strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service
