Our client, a well-established commercial vehicle dealer group, is recruiting for a Vehicle Service Advisor to ensure the efficient operation of their Service Department in Bicester. The successful individual will deliver exceptional customer service, maximise workshop profitability, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction. This role involves working as part of a friendly, professional team, reporting directly to the Service Manager.

- Ensure smooth operation of the Service Department, promoting profitability and customer satisfaction
- Deal with customers directly, providing expert advice and ensuring a positive experience
- Book vehicle service appointments, balancing workshop capacity and customer convenience
- Identify customer requirements and produce accurate, fully inclusive quotations
- Create detailed job cards, estimates, invoices, and warranty documentation, adhering to manufacturer policies
- Offer clear explanations of work carried out and identify additional sales and warranty opportunities
- Liaise with parts department to ensure the availability of parts for customer jobs
- Record all work requirements accurately, including retail, warranty, internal, and non-chargeable repairs
- Maintain high standards of customer communication and service delivery
- Prior experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Organisational and IT skills; experience with Kerridge/Keyloop DMS is advantageous
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles and relevant industry experience
- A valid UK driving licence with minimal points
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment and handle multiple customer enquiries
