Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers in the Service Department and provide a professional, proactive service experience
  • Plan and schedule vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs, including arranging courtesy vehicles when needed
  • Liaise extensively with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle progress and advise on necessary work
  • Ensure all customer interactions deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or a similar role within an automotive aftersales environment, such as a franchise dealership, service centre, or accident repair shop
  • Full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Strong organisational skills and IT literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and dealership management systems (preferably Kerridge or Keyloop)
  • Excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
  • Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a professional approach in a busy environment
