We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Service Advisor at a reputable dealership in Hereford, Herefordshire. Duties as a Service Advisor will include:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers in the Service Department
  • Greet customers and record vehicle details efficiently
  • Liaise with workshop staff to chase work in progress and update customers on vehicle status
  • Upsell additional products and services to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Organise collection and delivery of courtesy vehicles where applicable
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service at all times
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Liaise with the manufacturer for warranty authorisation and procedures as needed
  • Assist in promoting the dealership's brand and services
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • IT literacy; experience with Kerridge, ADP or similar systems is preferable
  • A clean UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Ability to deliver excellent customer service and upsell where appropriate
  • Knowledge of warranty procedures is advantageous but not essential
