We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable automotive dealership group for the position of Service Advisor in Telford, Shropshire. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking to progress their career within a well-established and customer-focused dealership. The Service Advisor role offers the chance to work within a busy dealership environment, providing outstanding customer service and supporting workshop operations.   • Circa £35,000 OTE depending on experience
  • Basic salary of £30,000 (dependent on experience)

  • Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greeting customers and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Booking vehicle service and repair appointments
  • Accurately recording customer concerns and workshop job details
  • Acting as a liaison between customers and the workshop team
  • Updating customers on progress and additional work requirements
  • Promoting and explaining additional repair and maintenance work
  • Maintaining accurate dealership management system records
  • Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure smooth customer journeys
Requirements for a Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills, experience with dealership management systems such as Kerridge/Drive or E-Dynamix is advantageous
  • Knowledge of Ford vehicles is a plus but not essential
  • A full UK Driving Licence
