Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership located in Oxford, Oxfordshire, is seeking a professional Vehicle Service Advisor to join their busy Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade individual or a customer service professional eager to progress into the automotive aftersales sector.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers in the Service Department and book vehicles in for repairs and servicing
  • Liaise with the workshop to monitor work progress and update customers accordingly
  • Upsell additional products and services to maximise customer satisfaction and dealership targets
  • Advise customers on minor technical issues and explain work carried out in a clear, professional manner
  • Take payments for completed work
  • Maintain high levels of customer service and build lasting relationships
  • Achieve individual and team sales objectives
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and IT skills; experience with Kerridge DMS or Onelink systems is beneficial
  • A full, clean UK driving licence with minimal points
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to deliver exceptional service
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and undertake training as provided
