We are recruiting on behalf of a leading main dealer in Bolton for a Service Advisor position that offers an excellent career opportunity within the automotive industry. The successful Service Advisor will be integral to maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.

  • Competitive basic salary starting from £27,000, with an OTE of up to £35,000
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5.30pm, with every other Saturday morning (8am-12.30pm)

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Manage the workflow for Vehicle Technicians and Mechanics, ensuring efficient scheduling and task allocation
  • Liaise effectively between customers, workshop teams, and management to coordinate repairs and services
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, building trust and long-term relationships with clients
  • Keep customers informed on vehicle repair progress and advice on service requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of service history and customer interactions
  • Promote additional services and products in a professional manner to maximise dealership revenue
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and dealership procedures at all times
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor within a main dealership environment
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with customers and colleagues
  • Basic technical understanding of automotive systems for accurate customer consultation
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in dealership management software and computer literacy
  • Professional appearance and attitude, representing the dealership positively
