Our client, a prestigious franchise-approved vehicle dealership in Newport, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent Service Advisor opportunity for a skilled professional to work within a reputable brand and progress their career in the automotive industry.

Duties of a Service Advisor:
  • Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service within the Service Department
  • Schedule service, maintenance, or repair work, including arranging courtesy vehicles when necessary
  • Liaise extensively with the workshop to monitor vehicle progress and keep customers informed
  • Upsell additional products and services where appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Manager, Service Reception Manager, and a team of Service Advisors and Technicians
  • Manage customer appointments efficiently, prioritise workloads, and ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records using relevant IT systems; experience with Kerridge/ADP is desirable
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism and represent the prestige brand positively
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
  • Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry
  • Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and IT literacy 
  • A full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points
  • A stable customer-facing career background is desirable
  • Enthusiasm for delivering high levels of customer service and building rapport with clients
