We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Service Bookings Advisor on behalf of our client, a well-established, multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff. As a Vehicle Service Bookings Advisor, you will play a vital role in managing customer appointments, providing exceptional service, and supporting the efficient operation of the service department.

Duties of a Service Bookings Advisor:
  • Handle incoming service department calls and enquiries
  • Book customer vehicles for scheduled services and MOTs
  • Manage and update service diaries across multiple brands
  • Pre-prepare documentation in anticipation of customer appointments
  • Provide clear pricing and obtain customer authorisation for services
  • Upsell service plans and additional repairs following vehicle health checks
  • Assist in creating a seamless customer experience, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Support workshop teams by prioritising and coordinating appointments 
  • Maintain accurate records of all bookings and customer communications
Requirements of a Service Bookings Advisor:
  • Previous experience in a contact centre, service reception, or call-handling role within the motor trade is desirable but not essential
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
  • An interest in the automotive industry and a genuine desire to build a career in this sector
  • IT literate and comfortable using booking systems and office software
  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
  • Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
  • A proactive attitude and a team-oriented approach
