Workshop Recruitment is supporting a well-established and growing business specialising in heating, cooling and climate control solutions in the search for a Service Co-ordinator to join their team in Theale. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive organisation where you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of service operations while developing a long-term career. The successful Service Co-ordinator will be responsible for coordinating service requests, scheduling engineers, communicating with customers, and ensuring all jobs are managed efficiently from enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer enquiries by telephone and email
  • Log service requests accurately using internal systems
  • Coordinate engineer schedules and allocate work efficiently
  • Keep customers updated on appointments and job progress
  • Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and internal departments
  • Arrange parts and materials to support service delivery
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation
  • Assist with quotations, purchase orders, and invoicing
  • Resolve customer queries and escalate technical issues where appropriate
  • Provide administrative support to the wider service team

Skills & Knowledge Required

  • Previous experience in a Service Co-ordinator, Scheduling, Customer Service, or Administration role
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Confident telephone manner
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach
