Are you an experienced Service Manager, Deputy Manager or Senior Team Leader looking for your next step within specialist adult social care?
We are recruiting for an established care provider supporting adults with autism and complex needs.
This is a hands-on management position where you will take responsibility for the safe, effective and person-centred delivery of allocated services. You'll lead and develop staff teams, maintain high standards of care and ensure services remain compliant, well organised and focused on positive outcomes for the people they support.

The Role
As Service Manager, you'll provide visible leadership across your allocated services and support Team Leaders and frontline staff to deliver consistently high standards.
You'll oversee staffing and rotas, safeguarding, risk assessments, support plans, incidents, medication governance, audits, training and staff performance.
You'll monitor service quality and ensure improvement actions are completed, while maintaining positive relationships with the people supported, families, professionals and other stakeholders.
The position also involves monitoring staffing expenditure and service resources and contributing to the effective mobilisation and development of services. These responsibilities reflect the formal Service Manager remit.
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- Experience within adult social care
- Supported living and/or residential care experience
- Experience supporting people with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
- Previous leadership or management experience
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent, ideally
- Level 5 Leadership & Management in Adult Care would be advantageous
- Knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
- Good safeguarding and risk-management knowledge
- Understanding of the Mental Capacity Act
- Experience managing or supporting staff teams
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure
- Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle
- Flexibility to participate in management on-call arrangements
The full role requires a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, or willingness and ability to work towards an agreed equivalent qualification.
