Service / MOT Tester in Epsom, Surrey

An established franchised dealership in Epsom needs a qualified MOT Tester who is equally happy handling routine servicing. You will work in a modern, well-equipped workshop. The team takes compliance and safety seriously and backs its technicians with ongoing training.

Key responsibilities

• Conducting MOT tests in line with DVSA requirements
• Recording test results and vehicle details accurately on the MOT system
• Carrying out routine servicing and maintenance to manufacturer standards
• Completing health checks and safety inspections
• Identifying defects and advising on necessary repairs or extra work
• Keeping MOT testing standards and compliance watertight
• Supporting the wider workshop and aftersales team when things get busy
• Keeping up with technical updates and changes to MOT rules

Essential requirements

• Currently qualified and eligible MOT Tester
• A relevant automotive qualification, ideally NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• Solid experience servicing and maintaining vehicles
• Good working knowledge of DVSA standards
• A full UK driving licence
• A careful, safety-first approach and strong attention to detail
• Reliable, professional and comfortable working alone or as part of a team
