We're recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic to join a busy fleet operation, maintaining a mixed fleet of HGVs.
 
The role of the HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic
  • Service, maintain and repair a mixed fleet of refuse HGVs.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
  • Complete repairs to a high standard and minimise vehicle downtime.
  • Work safely and efficiently as part of an experienced engineering team.
What the ideal HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Truck Mechanic would need
  • Previous HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic experience.
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
  • Commercial vehicle experience.
  • A good understanding of preventative maintenance.
  • Reliable, practical and safety-focused approach.
