We're currently looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a busy construction project in Bath.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long term freelance contract on a project where Phase 1 is expected to run for approximately 12 months, with further phases likely to follow.

The Role

You will be responsible for setting out works across a project specialising in drainage and foundations, ensuring all work is carried out accurately and in line with design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Setting out drainage and foundation works
• Checking lines, levels and dimensions
• Working closely with the site management team
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Maintaining accurate records of setting out information
• Ensuring works are completed safely and to specification

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Setting Out Engineer
• Strong background in drainage and foundation works
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• CSCS card
• Relevant engineering qualification (preferred)
• Own setting out equipment is beneficial but not essential – equipment can be provided if required
