Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly shifts (06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00)

We are recruiting Sewing Machinists to join a well-established and busy manufacturing site in Kirriemuir. This is an excellent opportunity to secure consistent, full-time work in a structured environment, with a strong chance of ongoing or permanent employment.

Your role on shift
As part of the production team, you will:
- Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently
- Produce technical textile products to a high and consistent quality standard
- Monitor your output and contribute to meeting daily production targets
- Carry out routine quality checks and complete production documentation
- Report any faults, defects or issues promptly to supervisors
- Keep your workspace clean, organised and safe at all times
- Support colleagues and assist with additional production tasks as required
- Follow all health and safety procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
This is a fast-paced role where attention to detail and consistency are key, and where every team member plays an important part in the production process.
What we are looking for
We are keen to speak with candidates who are:
- Experienced in sewing or operating machinery within a manufacturing environment
- Detail-focused with a strong commitment to quality
- Comfortable working in a physically active role
- Reliable, punctual and able to work rotating shift patterns
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, with a positive and flexible attitude
It would be great if you also have
- Experience within technical textiles
- Previous production or factory experience
However, these are not essential as training will be provided.
