This is an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals who take pride in high quality workmanship and have strong experience operating sewing machinery within a production or manufacturing environment. You will be working on a variety of sewn components and finished products, ensuring all work meets quality and specification standards.

- Job Type: Temp to Perm
- Location: Hastings
- Hours: Full-time, Monday- Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial sewing machines to produce high quality finished products
- Work from patterns, drawings, or instructions to complete production tasks accurately
- Ensure all sewn items meet quality and specification requirements
- Carry out quality checks throughout the production process
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Report any issues or defects to supervisors promptly
- Support general production duties where required
Skills, Experience and Training Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Sewing Machinist
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machines confidently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Basic understanding of production or manufacturing environments
- Portfolio of previous work is welcomed and encouraged
