Shift Leader

Shift Leader | £60K + £9K Retention Bonus (£750pm, pro-rata) Canary Wharf

Fancy stepping up into a Shift Leader role on a critical, mission-critical site? This one comes with a serious package on top of a solid base salary.

You'll be running the show on shift, keeping the M&E plant in top shape, leading PPM and reactive works, and making sure the building's environmental conditions never miss a beat.

What you'll be doing:

• Supervising day-to-day shift operations, covering PPM and reactive works across all M&E plant
• Fault-finding across A/C, UPS, generators and LV systems, using alarm data and graphical trends
• Running the Permit to Work system and overseeing LOTO compliance
• Managing subcontractors on site - approvals, safe working, performance
• Keeping the CAFM system (e.g. Maximo) bang up to date, PPM and reactive tickets closed out properly
• Producing shift reports, near miss reports and dynamic risk assessments
• Building strong working relationships with the client and wider engineering team
• Covering holiday/sickness at short notice, staying flexible on shift patterns

What you'll need:

• City & Guilds (or equivalent NVQ) in Electro-Mechanical principles and Building Services maintenance
• 17th/18th Edition BS7671
• HV Authorised Person status
• Solid experience maintaining electrical equipment within a building services environment
• Comfortable working under pressure and making calls when it counts
• Physically fit - able to carry tools/components up to 20kg, work at heights, and use vertical access equipment
• A/C experience is a bonus but not essential

Shift pattern: 6am-6pm, continental shift pattern

Package:

• £60,000 base
• £9,000 retention bonus (£750pm, pro-rata)
