Shift Supervisor

Location: Morocco | Rotation: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off | Contract: 15 months

We are recruiting a Shift Supervisor to lead the safe, controlled and efficient operation of a major process plant in Morocco. Working a 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation on a 15-month contract, you will lead the shift team and act as the key operational link between the process plant, wells, maintenance, loading facilities and the Plant Manager.

The Role

• Take overall operational responsibility for the plant during your shift, directing operators and field personnel.
• Monitor operating conditions and keep equipment within approved limits, responding quickly to upsets and abnormal conditions.
• Coordinate start-up, shutdown, isolation and restart activities.
• Manage the well-to-plant interface, keeping feed stable and escalating production issues.
• Oversee safe and efficient loading bay operations and interfaces with logistics.
• Act as the senior safety presence on shift: permit-to-work, isolations, toolbox talks and stopping unsafe work.
• Interface with maintenance on isolations, handovers and safe return to service.
• Deliver shift production and throughput targets and record plant data accurately.
• Lead the initial emergency response and place affected systems into a safe condition.
• Run thorough shift handovers and lead, coach and support the shift team.

What You'll Bring

• Proven shift supervision experience in process, oil and gas or petrochemical plant operations.
• Strong process safety knowledge, including permit-to-work, isolation and lock-out / tag-out.
• Experience across start-up, shutdown and normal operations.
• Ability to coordinate across wells, maintenance and loading, and to lead a shift team.
• Commissioning and start-up experience is an advantage.
