Location: Kingston upon Hull
Pay: £15.27 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary
Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm
Flexibility Required: Due to business and client demands, occasional Saturday and Sunday work may be required.

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is looking for an experienced Shop Floor Coordinator to join our on-site team at a leading meat processing facility in Kingston upon Hull.

This is a hands-on role where you'll become the key point of contact for both our client and agency workforce, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

Coordinating daily attendance and workforce planning
Checking employee clocking reports and communicating any discrepancies to the Account Manager promptly
Supporting and motivating agency staff on the shop floor
Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met
Reporting production issues and operational delays
Assisting with inductions and site training
Working closely with supervisors and management to improve efficiency
Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service delivery

What We're Looking For:

Experience in a supervisory or coordination role within food manufacturing (meat processing preferred)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Flexibility to work occasional weekends to meet client and business demands
