Hours: Day Shift | Early Finish on Fridays
 

Actio Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shot Blaster / Paint Prep Operative on behalf of a well-established fabrication and engineering company based in Lichfield.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing environment, working with high-quality fabricated components and playing a key role in the finishing process.

The Role

As a Shot Blaster / Paint Prep Operative, you will be responsible for preparing fabricated components for painting and coating processes. This will include shot blasting, masking, and ensuring parts meet quality standards before progressing through production.

Key Responsibilities

• Shot blasting fabricated and engineered components.
• Preparing parts ready for painting and finishing processes.
• Masking components as required prior to painting.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Carrying out visual quality inspections on completed work.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in shot blasting, paint preparation, or a similar manufacturing role.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Good attention to detail and quality standards.
