Site Agent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to join a well-established Civil Engineering contractor delivering a range of infrastructure and flood defence projects. Site Agent Job Requirements

• HNC/HND or BEng qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• CSCS Card and SMSTS certification.
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts.
• Previous experience delivering civil engineering projects, ideally including flood defence schemes.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors and project programmes.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and temporary works.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and planning software such as Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• TWC, First Aid at Work, SEATS and/or EUSR certifications would be advantageous.

Site Agent Job Responsibilities

• Manage site teams, operatives and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Produce and implement method statements, risk assessments and project management plans.
• Monitor project costs against tender allowances and agreed budgets.
• Prepare, manage and update project programmes.
• Procure, assess and manage subcontractors throughout project delivery.
• Coordinate design activities between internal teams and external consultants.
• Administer NEC contracts and manage contractual change.
• Ensure projects are completed on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, stakeholders and local communities.
• Ensure compliance with all company health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
