Are you an experienced Site Agent with rail expereince looking for your next contract with an established Tier 1 Contractor?

Randstad CPE is currently recruiting for a Site Agents to work in Liverpool on a high profile rail project.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working on multi-discipline rail projects and station upgrades.

Role Brief:

Working closely with the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of site activities, administration, documentation, and supply chain partners to ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations and coordinate subcontractors
  • Oversee project documentation and site records, ensuring compliance with project and client requirements
  • Manage permits, site paperwork, inspection records, and quality documentation
  • Monitor supply chain performance and coordinate subcontractor activities
  • Support programme delivery, identifying and escalating risks and delays where required
  • Ensure works are carried out safely and in accordance with approved methodologies
  • Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager
  • Liaise with client representatives, stakeholders, subcontractors, and the wider project team
  • Support commercial and procurement activities as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a Site Agent, Site Manager, Sub-Agent, or similar construction delivery role. Rail experience is welcome but is not essential for the right candidate.
  • SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid qualifications with CSCS gold card
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work activities
  • Ability to maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Full UK driving licence
