Site Engineer

We’re looking for a permanent Site Engineer to support delivery across major civil engineering projects throughout the UK.

You’ll initially be based on a large infrastructure scheme in the South West in Exeter working closely with the Project Manager and site team to ensure works are delivered safely, accurately, and to programme.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on setting out, quality, and day-to-day site coordination.

As Site Engineer you will:

• Carrying out setting out, surveying, and volume checks in line with specifications
• Interpreting drawings and technical information to support accurate delivery
• Producing and managing earthworks quantities and 3D models
• Setting up and maintaining machine control systems
• Monitoring progress and reporting weekly volumes and outputs
• Providing clear and accurate information to site and project management teams

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

• Degree or HND/HNC/BTEC in Civil Engineering or related fields.
• Experience and understanding of AutoCAD
• 4+ years’ experience site experience in roads, drainage, earthworks, and reinforced concrete
• Experience and understanding of AutoCAD and surveying software

Salary and benefits include:

• £40,000 - £50,000 per annum plus package
