Site Engineer

Abatec is recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer on a freelance basis to join our client, a well-established Tier 1 civil engineering contractor, working near Weston-Super-Mare.

This is an opportunity to be a part of a large-scale highways project, with huge potential to uplift your existing career as an experienced Site Engineer.

With over 12 months of work, this is a good opportunity to progress your career whilst working on a long-term freelance position.

The nearly £70m project will give you the chance to improve your work history and secure a long-term contract on technically interesting and high-value projects.

As Site Engineer you will:

· Have multiple years’ experience in Civil Engineering and highways schemes.

- Have a good understanding of GPS machine guidance/control and QA.

- Ensure that quality, safety, and programme requirements are met

Our client requires a Site Engineer with:

· Valid CSCS and experience using Total Stations/GPS/Machine Control

· Excellent communication skills.

· HND/HNC/Degree in Civil Engineering.

· Experience working on Civil Engineering projects including highways/roads/earthworks

Salary and benefits include:

£375-£425 per day PAYE Umbrella
