Job Title:
Permanent Site Engineer - Quality Assurance / QA

Location:
Midlands-based, with nationwide travel

Salary:
£35,000-£40,000 per annum + expenses

Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Permanent Site Engineer to join a busy team, with the role focused primarily on quality assurance, site checking and compliance rather than setting out.

The successful candidate will work across a range of projects, ensuring works are completed to the required standards and specifications. The role will involve attending site meetings, completing compliance reports, carrying out inspections and maintaining strong communication with site and project teams.

The company is Midlands-based, with work available nationwide. Every effort will be made to provide projects within approximately one hour of the successful candidate's home. Any additional travel will be covered through expenses, with hotel accommodation provided where required.

Key Requirements:

• Previous Site Engineering experience

• Strong QA and quality checking experience

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and compliance

• Excellent communication skills

• Confident attending meetings and liaising with site teams

• Experience producing reports and maintaining site documentation

• Thorough and organised approach to quality

• Willingness to travel nationwide when required

• Setting out experience is not essential for this position

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all QA and checking work on site

• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and relevant standards

• Complete quality and compliance reports

• Attend site and project meetings

• Identify and report quality issues

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

• Communicate effectively with site teams, engineers and project management

• Support the successful delivery of projects to the required quality standards
