Site Engineer - Night Shift

Our client is seeking a dedicated Site Engineer to join their expanding team based in Hungerford. In this varied role you will maintain and repair machinery to keep production running efficiently within a supportive environment offering real scope for development.

Pay & Shifts:

• £45,500 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• Night Shift - 22:00pm to 06:00am
• 37.5 hour week

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and assist with machine adjustments
• Diagnose and repair faults to minimise downtime
• Maintain and update planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes
• Assist with spare parts inventory management to ensure availability
• Keep workshop and tools well-organised and tidy
• Provide cover during colleagues’ absences and deputise for the Chief Engineer when required
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time
• Ensure all work complies with UK health and safety regulations

What We're Looking For:

• Strong mechanical and engineering experience with basic electrical knowledge
• Customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills
• Qualifications such as City & Guilds, NVQ, HND, or Degree desirable
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus
• Personable, professional, and well organised
