Site Engineer – Kent / Sussex / Hampshire

Are you a Site Engineer with experience delivering water or heavy civil engineering projects and looking for your next long-term opportunity?

Red Sky Personnel are recruiting for a Site Engineer to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering major projects across the Southern Water AMP8 framework throughout Kent, Sussex and Hampshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term £500m programme of works delivering critical clean water and wastewater infrastructure upgrades. Projects include wastewater pumping stations, pipelines, reinforced concrete structures and associated civil engineering works, with work secured through to 2030.

We are looking for a Site Engineer with a strong background in water infrastructure or heavy civils who can support the safe and efficient delivery of works from planning through to completion.

As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out, producing RAMS and ITPs, maintaining QA documentation, completing inspections, maintaining engineering records, and ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or water infrastructure projects

• Experience working on water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure projects

• Strong setting out experience using Leica, Trimble or robotic total station equipment

• Experience producing QA documentation, ITPs and RAMS

• Experience delivering reinforced concrete structures, pumping stations, pipelines or heavy civils

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and resolve technical issues on site

• Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (preferred)

• CSCS Card

• Strong communication and organisational skills
