Site Engineer

The Role:

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of highways construction works, ensuring quality, safety, and programme requirements are met on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements.
• Managing and maintaining accurate site records.
• Ensuring works are delivered to specification and quality standards.
• Producing and reviewing as-built information.
• Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Supporting quality assurance and health & safety procedures.
• Assisting with progress reporting and programme management.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or civil engineering projects.
• Proficient in the use of setting-out equipment and surveying instruments.
• Strong understanding of highways construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• CSCS card essential.
• SMSTS or SSSTS desirable.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
