Site Engineer

My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Site Engineer to help deliver a marine and tunnelling package on the Sizewell C project, with an immediate start available. This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects, working on a complex package involving marine works, underground infrastructure, and heavy civil engineering.
Site Engineer Responsibilities:
- Toolbox talks
- Client liaison
- Health and safety compliance
- Setting out for marine and tunnelling works
- Supervising subcontractors and day-to-day site activities
- Ensuring works are delivered on programme and to specification
- Managing QA documentation, ITPs, and as-built records
- Carrying out surveys and resolving engineering and technical queries
- Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to coordinate project delivery
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Site Engineer Requirements:
- Black or Gold CSCS
- Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on marine, tunnelling, or major civil engineering projects
- Experience with marine structures, shafts, tunnelling, reinforced concrete, or heavy civils would be advantageous
- Strong setting out and surveying experience
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- IT literate
- Full UK driving licence
