Site Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a 278 works scheme in Tipton, with a start available tomorrow for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying works accurately
- Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications
- Completing site measurements and quality checks
- Supporting the Site Manager with technical requirements
- Liaising with subcontractors and site teams
- Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects
- Experience with Section 278 (S278) works is highly desirable
- Strong setting-out experience
- Competent with relevant surveying equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Relevant engineering qualifications
- CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Package
- £300–£400 per shift, depending on experience
- Immediate start available — tomorrow if possible
