We are recruiting a Site Engineer to join a major UK infrastructure project at Sizewell C, one of the country’s flagship nuclear and heavy civils schemes. This role offers the chance to work within a Tier 1 delivery environment on complex temporary works and general civils packages, contributing to a long-term, high-profile programme. Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for a range of heavy civils and temporary works packages
- Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and installations
- Ensuring works are delivered in line with technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Supporting site teams with method statements, risk assessments, and technical queries
- Liaising with subcontractors, designers, and site management teams
- Monitoring progress and contributing to programme delivery
- Maintaining robust QA documentation and site records
- Experience working as a Site Engineer / Senior Engineer / Setting Out Engineer
- Strong background in general civils and/or temporary works
- Previous experience on major infrastructure projects (e.g. nuclear, highways, rail, or large-scale civils schemes)
- Competent in setting out using total station and GPS equipment
- Understanding of temporary works procedures and coordination
- Familiar with QA processes and site documentation
