Site Engineer - Structures

Location: Gloucester
Rate: £430 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Gloucester, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor.
This role will focus on the delivery of bridge and structural works, making it an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in structures who is looking to contribute to a high-profile civil engineering scheme.

• Setting out and overseeing bridge and structural construction activities
• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with design drawings, specifications and quality standards
• Producing and maintaining accurate site records, surveys and as-built documentation
• Supporting the management team with technical queries and engineering solutions
• Coordinating with subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient project delivery
• Conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental performance

• Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on bridge and structural projects
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete, foundations, bridge construction and associated structural works
• Competent in setting out and surveying duties
• Valid CSCS card
• Major infrastructure project experience desirable
• Previous experience working for a Tier 1 contractor desirable
• SSSTS desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• £430 per day (Inside IR35)
