About this Role:
Experienced Site Manager required by this busy regional main contractor to join their team across Basingstoke and Newbury.
You will initially join a £5m industrial project in Basingstoke, helping take the scheme through its final stages to completion around March.
From there, you will move onto a £12m development in Newbury, comprising three new build units for an MOT centre, auction house and medical manufacturing/testing facility.
The Newbury scheme is currently at groundworks and piling stage, with around 14-15 months remaining, taking the project through to completion including the full internal fit-out.
There is also a strong pipeline of repeat work in the surrounding area with this key client.
Duties will include:
· Managing site-based construction activities and subcontractors;
· Assisting with short-term programming and coordination of works;
· Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained across site;
· Monitoring quality and progress against programme;
· Coordinating subcontractors and resolving site issues as they arise;
· Supporting snagging, completion and handover of projects.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong main contracting background and experience supporting the successful delivery of construction projects.
You will possess good technical and organisational skills, strong subcontractor management ability and a sharp eye for quality and detail.
A construction management, engineering or trades background would all be considered, alongside the ability to plan ahead, identify issues and work effectively as part of a wider project team.
You will possess SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
